1) You should receive an Elections card in the mail, so hold tight. If you don’t, visit Elections BC, or call 1-800-661-8683 to find out where you can vote. British Columbia’s provincial election day in Canada is Saturday, October 24th. If you’re not registered by voting day, bring to the polling station, your ID and a piece of mail with your current address. You CAN vote without ID or proof of address but you’ll need someone who lives in your city to come with you and swear you are who you say you are.
2) If you don’t know which party (or independent candidate) to vote for consider what you value most as a British Columbian and an Earthling. ie Pandemic leadership, resource development, climate change, taxes, housing, etc. Consult with people you respect and take political advertisements with a grain of salt.
